Agile Coach

Job Description:

As an Agile Coach, you will guide teams and organizations in adopting Agile principles and practices to improve efficiency, collaboration, and delivery for portfolio companies and clients. This remote, part-time or full-time role offers the flexibility to work with global teams, enabling you to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will act as a change agent, coaching teams, leaders, and stakeholders to embrace Agile methodologies and achieve their goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor teams, leaders, and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and workshops to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Support teams in identifying and removing impediments to improve performance and delivery.
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive Agile transformation and align Agile practices with business goals.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to build Agile capabilities across the organization.
  • Monitor and assess team performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and innovation within teams and organizations.
  • Act as a change agent, promoting Agile mindsets and behaviors at all levels.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or in a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
    • Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Rally).
    • Excellent facilitation, communication, and coaching skills.
    • Ability to influence and drive organizational change.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Familiarity with software development processes and cross-functional team dynamics.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or ICAgile Certified Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE-AC)) are a plus but not required.

90,000–140,000 USD per year (pro-rated for part-time roles, adjusted for location and experience).
