Job Description:
As an Agile Coach, you will guide teams and organizations in adopting Agile principles and practices to improve efficiency, collaboration, and delivery for portfolio companies and clients. This remote, part-time or full-time role offers the flexibility to work with global teams, enabling you to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will act as a change agent, coaching teams, leaders, and stakeholders to embrace Agile methodologies and achieve their goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor teams, leaders, and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and workshops to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Support teams in identifying and removing impediments to improve performance and delivery.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive Agile transformation and align Agile practices with business goals.
- Develop and deliver training programs to build Agile capabilities across the organization.
- Monitor and assess team performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and innovation within teams and organizations.
- Act as a change agent, promoting Agile mindsets and behaviors at all levels.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or in a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Rally).
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to influence and drive organizational change.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with software development processes and cross-functional team dynamics.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or ICAgile Certified Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE-AC)) are a plus but not required.
