Job Description:

As an Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline business processes for portfolio companies and clients. This remote, part-time or full-time role offers the flexibility to work with global teams, enabling you to create tools and systems that enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve operational performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define requirements.
• Develop scripts, workflows, and tools using automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom solutions).
• Integrate automation tools with existing systems and applications to ensure seamless operation.
• Monitor and maintain automation systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation workflows and tools.
• Stay updated on emerging automation technologies and trends, recommending improvements to existing systems.
• Document automation processes, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in automation engineering or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in automation tools and platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n, UiPath, or similar).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with API integrations and RESTful services.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflow optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Associate, Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional) are a plus but not required.
