Job Description:

As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will lead the financial strategy and operations for portfolio companies and clients, ensuring sustainable growth and financial health. This remote, part-time role (with flexibility for full-time arrangements) offers the opportunity to work with global teams, enabling you to oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management. You will play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the organization and supporting strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals and growth.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial performance, providing actionable insights.
• Lead risk management efforts, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, investors, and financial institutions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and accounting teams.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in financial leadership or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus but not required.
