Cloud Architect

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions for portfolio companies and clients. Your expertise will ensure that their digital ecosystems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business goals, enabling seamless growth and innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions tailored to the needs of portfolio companies and clients.
• Migrate existing systems and applications to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud solutions.
• Develop and enforce cloud security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments, providing timely resolutions to technical issues.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance operations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams working on cloud-related projects.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Architect certifications are highly desirable.
