Job Description:
As a Contract Manager, you will oversee the entire contract lifecycle for portfolio companies and clients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while mitigating risks. This remote, part-time role (with flexibility for full-time arrangements) offers the opportunity to work with global teams, enabling you to draft, review, and manage contracts that align with business objectives. You will play a key role in protecting business interests and supporting strategic decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, from initiation to renewal or termination.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and business teams to align contracts with organizational goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks in contract terms and conditions.
- Maintain a centralized contract repository, ensuring accurate and organized records.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Resolve contract disputes and provide guidance on contractual obligations.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting contract management.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in contract management, legal, or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of contract law and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., DocuSign, ContractWorks).
- Ability to analyze complex contract terms and identify risks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Commercial Contracts Manager, NCMA) are a plus but not required.
