Job Description:

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will protect systems and data by identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks for portfolio companies and clients. This remote, part-time role (with flexibility for full-time arrangements) offers the opportunity to work with global teams, enabling you to monitor and analyze security threats, implement protective measures, and safeguard digital assets. You will play a key role in maintaining the security and integrity of the organization’s digital infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security threats to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and data.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, recommending improvements to existing systems.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Prepare and present security reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
    • Proficiency in security tools and software (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, antivirus).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus but not required.

70,000–100,000 USD per year (pro-rated for part-time roles, adjusted for location and experience).
