Job Description:
As an Integration Architect, you will design and oversee the implementation of integration solutions to connect systems, applications, and platforms for portfolio companies and clients. This remote, part-time or full-time role offers the flexibility to work with global teams, enabling you to create robust, scalable, and secure integration architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and architect integration solutions to connect systems, applications, and platforms.
- Develop integration strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with system architecture.
- Oversee the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Evaluate and recommend integration tools, platforms, and technologies to meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, providing technical leadership and guidance.
- Stay updated on emerging integration technologies and trends, recommending improvements to existing systems.
- Document integration architectures, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in integration architecture, software development, or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
- Skills:
- Expertise in integration platforms and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel).
- Strong understanding of API development and management (e.g., RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SOAP).
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration services.
- Knowledge of data formats (e.g., JSON, XML) and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus but not required.
