Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description:

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency for portfolio companies and clients. This role offers the opportunity to work with global teams, enabling you to monitor and maintain inventory systems while supporting smooth operations. You will play a key role in minimizing discrepancies and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize inventory management processes.
• Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in inventory management.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in inventory control or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Inventory Optimization Professional) are a plus but not required.
