Job Description:

As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee logistics operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain management for portfolio companies and clients. This remote global or New York, NY-based role offers the opportunity to work with global teams, enabling you to manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution while optimizing operations. You will play a key role in maintaining smooth and efficient logistics processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance, providing actionable insights for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
• Prepare and present logistics reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in logistics management or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
• Skills:

  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
