Job Description:
As a Mobile App Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for portfolio companies and clients. This remote, part-time or full-time role offers the flexibility to work with global teams, enabling you to create innovative and user-friendly mobile solutions. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality apps that align with business objectives and provide an exceptional user experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
- Optimize mobile apps for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance app functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
- Stay updated on emerging mobile development trends and technologies, incorporating them into projects.
- Ensure apps are secure, scalable, and optimized for app store guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in mobile app development or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in mobile development frameworks (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native).
- Experience with mobile app deployment processes for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of mobile app performance optimization and debugging tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Associate Android Developer, Apple Certified iOS Developer) are a plus but not required.
