Job Description:
As a Program Manager, you will oversee and coordinate multiple related projects to achieve strategic business goals for portfolio companies and clients. This remote, part-time or full-time role offers the flexibility to work with global teams, enabling you to align program objectives with business priorities, manage interdependencies, and ensure successful delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to drive program success and deliver measurable value.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and manage program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee multiple projects within the program, ensuring alignment and coordination across teams.
- Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and interdependencies.
- Monitor program progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Foster collaboration and communication across project teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct program evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and team members.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in program and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Experience with program management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet).
- Strong organizational, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex programs with multiple interdependencies.
- Familiarity with risk management and problem-solving techniques.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PgMP, PMP, or PRINCE2) are a plus but not required.
