Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will ensure that portfolio companies and clients comply with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards. This remote, part-time role (with flexibility for full-time arrangements) offers the opportunity to work with global teams, enabling you to monitor compliance, conduct audits, and provide guidance to mitigate risks and maintain regulatory adherence. You will play a key role in protecting the organization’s integrity and reputation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential issues.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on regulatory compliance matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance in all business operations.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.
• Investigate and resolve compliance violations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
• Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and audits effectively.
  • Strong communication and training skills to educate employees on compliance matters.
  • Familiarity with compliance management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, CRCM) are a plus but not required.
