Job Description:

As a Social Media Manager, you will manage and grow the social media presence of portfolio companies and clients, driving engagement, brand awareness, and customer acquisition. This remote, part-time role (with flexibility for full-time arrangements) offers the opportunity to work with global teams, enabling you to create and execute social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok. You will play a key role in building online communities and achieving measurable results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals and brand identity.
  • Create and manage content calendars, ensuring consistent and engaging posts across all platforms.
  • Monitor and engage with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Analyze social media performance using tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to create compelling social media assets.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, incorporating them into strategies.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads) to maximize ROI.
  • Build and nurture online communities, fostering brand loyalty and customer engagement.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in social media management or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok).
    • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
    • Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
    • Ability to create engaging content and manage multiple platforms simultaneously.
    • Familiarity with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Hootsuite Social Marketing Certification, Facebook Blueprint) are a plus but not required.

50,000–75,000 USD per year (pro-rated for part-time roles, adjusted for location and experience).
