Job Description:
As a Tax Advisor, you will provide expert tax guidance to portfolio companies and clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and optimizing tax strategies. This remote, part-time role (with flexibility for full-time arrangements) offers the opportunity to work with global teams, enabling you to prepare tax returns, advise on tax planning, and resolve tax-related issues. You will play a key role in minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing savings for the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
- Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize liabilities and maximize savings.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax laws.
- Research and interpret tax laws to provide accurate and actionable advice.
- Assist with tax audits and resolve tax-related issues.

Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in tax advisory or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, H&R Block).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to research and interpret complex tax laws.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with international tax laws is a plus.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, Enrolled Agent) are a plus but not required.
