Job Description:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and digital platforms for portfolio companies and clients. This remote, part-time or full-time role offers the flexibility to work with global teams, enabling you to create user-centered designs that align with business goals and provide exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design user interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
- Stay updated on UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all designs.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align designs with business objectives and user needs.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in UI/UX design or a related role (open to less experienced candidates with strong potential).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Familiarity with usability testing and user research methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work is required.
